Sennheiser MZA900P Reviews
This is absolutely needed to connect to the Sennheiser mics as well as the SENAL UEM-155-35H-BK Omni Earset Mic. I like 3.5mm connection. Very secure.
Must have tool at a price
Yes, they’re expensive but needed if you’re a professional seeking clean audio when wireless interferences are wreaking havoc. They work perfectly but knocking 1 star off for bending me over.
Handy for your kit
This is a handy little device for your kit. A producer was concerned about wireless interference for an interview in a factory. I could have used an old wired lav, but prefer the Sanken mics I have. This allowed me to plug in and get great sound with no interference. Yeah, it is a little pricey for what it does, but I imagine it will be in my kit for some time.
Great, but overpriced
I love how well this works. It sounds great. It's solidly built. But the price? Come on, Sennheiser.
Piece of Mind
Love having this in my audio kit. Enables me to build my inventory of quality wireless lav mics and have the flexibility of using them as wired mics when needed. Using the same lav mic for wired or wireless scenarios provides a consistent sound quality to a project. It also saves space in my cases as I don't have to carry multiple wired lav systems.
Adds versatility to my mics
I use this for everything from a Sanken COS-11 to a Tram TR-50. If our Sennheiser G3 systems are getting too much interference (90% of the time), we yank 'em and use this to hard wire the mics. Very simple to use.
When you're sitting at a desk...
A good mic is essential when you're doing things like working remotely through zoom. A lav mic is particularly good because it naturally cuts back on background noise. The remote pack is just an annoyance when you're sitting at a desk though. This adapter nicely solves the problem.
Essential back-up gear
...or heck, just wire it all when you know you wont be moving and dont want to mess with wireless drop-outs. Nice pad and low cut features vs. some other competing models. If you already have the Sennheiser connector mics, it just plain makes sense to have this in your bag.
