The blue, 15' L-4E6S Star Quad XLRM to XLRF Microphone Cable from Canare is especially designed for handheld microphone applications in live sound, rehearsals and other situations. In addition to mic-level signals, the cable can also be used to carry line-level signals such as for connecting your mixer to power amps.

The L-4E6S Star Quad cable features a 4-conductor design that is engineered to substantially reduce vulnerability to electromagnetic and radio frequency interference when compared with 2-conductor cables. It uses 21 AWG copper wire which features cross-linked, flexible irradiated polyethylene insulation, which is designed to maintain maximum frequency response and to be more heat resistant than ordinary polyethylene. It also utilizes braided copper shielding which is designed for greater noise rejection and durability than spiral shielding.

The cable also includes cotton filler which is in place to help to cut down handling noise. This can be beneficial in handheld microphone applications in which the cable may be subject to a substantial amount of movement.

Cross-linked PE insulation for flexibility even at low temperatures

L-4E6S Star Quad XLRM to XLRF Microphone Cable - 15' (Blue) is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 19.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Top quality bit of kit, price tag to match. Canare heavy shielded Star Quad cable, top quality Neutrik connectors. This is a tidbit of gear I'll never have to think about. It just works. Concrete example; there's this venue in town that has dimmable pot lights that generates this audible 60Hz hum using cheaper mic cables from the local music shop, but not the Star Quads. I now own mic cables in all 8 jacket colors offered by BH, which simplifies setting up, troubleshooting, tearing down, ID'ing my cables on a dark stage, etc etc. It's a small thing in the scope of all the chores required to set up for a show, but one that makes those chores just a little bit easier.

I highly reccomend these cables.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product all around I bought this cable for my lead singer. I was looking for a good quality cable that was white. The Star-Quad is a great cable with perfect clarity. Great price, great product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good quality cable I use this cable to connect my Kemper Profiler to my powered monitor at rehearsals and gigs. The color helps troubleshoot any sound issues and keeps my accessories bag from looking like it's filled with one mile-long black cable. I haven't had the cable for very long, but so far I'm impressed with the quality, flexibility and noise resistance of this cable. Only time will tell if it's truly durable, but I'm giving it 5 stars for now.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The only cables I buy I learned a long time ago that investing in high-quality cables and connectors is critical. What I like most about the Canare Star-Quad mic cables is their flexibility. I have some that are a decade old and have never become stiff, even in cold weather. The range of colors is also nice when you're working with a bunch of cables at once and aren't using a snake.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good quality cable I use this cable to connect my TC Electronic Voicelive Play vocal FX processor to my powered monitor at rehearsals and gigs. I'm impressed with the quality, flexibility and noise resistance of the cable. I haven't owned it for very long yet, and only time will tell how durable it is. But I'm giving it 5 stars for now.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Cable with solid connector I bought this cable to replace my other XLR cables that weren't working out for boom audio recording as the connectors would lose contact inside the microphone and cause pops in the audio. With this cable I no longer have that problem, thanks Canare and B&H! Also I love that it's blue :)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great value for balanced cable I was looking for a balanced line out cable for my sub to replace my plain RCA cable and this fit the bill. I noticed immidately that the sub had better extension and tighter bass overall. I did have to adjust the level a bit higher to compensate for the slight loss in volume.
