What does "1564 for the Waterproof 1560" mean? I do not see where Pelican has a 1564 model case? Is it basically just a 1560? What is the significance of the 1564? Do all 1560 accessories fit this 1564 case?
Asked by: Aj
1564, refers to the 1560 case with dividers. Simply an item code that denotes the 1560 case with dividers.

question

Anyone used this as a carry on? Was it allowed?
Asked by: Haven S.
I was traveling with a 1535, and ended up next to someone with a 1560 as we went through security (TSA Precheck in the U.S.). I was jealous of her bigger case with more space. But the 1560 isn't officially the correct size for carry-on. She had no problems with security. I didn't see her at her flight. But I'd hate to be denied the chance to carry mine on. My case was full of camera lenses and batteries. I needed to make sure it would be allowed on the plane. Once I put my 1535 in the overhead, I could see that a bigger (taller

question

Can someone PRETTY PLEASE give me the EXACT interior width and length dimensions of this case with the foam inserted? The interior dimensions listed only measure the interior of the hard copolymer shell. I want the interior dimensions (width & length) from the interior edge of the foam. Thank you for taking the time to do this!- Chris
Asked by: Chris
Sure, with the TrekPak foam the internal dimensions are 486mm x 360mm. Like others have said you loose roughly 45mm x 30mm x 15mm either side at the bottom due to the wheels

question

What is the difference between the original version of this case and the ones labeled V2?
Asked by: Michael
Mine has yellow foam which is thicker then the original. I would rather have the original foam but my gear is not that fragile.
