Wireless IFB Inductive Earpiece with Inductive Neck Loop Overview

The FPSC0037 from PSC is an inductive earpiece receiver ideal for cueing news anchors, stage performers, and live presenters. The earpiece receives signals wirelessly from the included inductive neckloop.

Suitable for adults or children, the flesh-colored earpiece is easily concealed and remains hidden thanks to the fact that there are no wires running directly to the ear. The neckloop fits comfortably concealed underneath a shirt or blouse and connects to a bodypack receiver (sold separately)

The FPSC0037 from PSC is an inductive earpiece receiver ideal for cueing news anchors, stage performers, and live presenters. The earpiece receives signals from either an inductive neckloop, which is placed around the neck and hidden under clothes, or from a large loop, which can be used room or stage-wide to cue multiple users. Suitable for adults or children, the flesh-colored earpiece is easily concealed and remains hidden thanks to the fact that there are no wires running directly to the ear.

PSC Inductive Neck Loop - For PSC IFB Talent Inductive Earpiece

This professional IFB cueing utility is basically a small, flexible neck loop which couples audio via a low level magnetic field into a hearing aid style inductive earpiece. This allows talent to almost invisibly receive a discrete cue while on camera.

question

The neck loop working with ifb brand only or other brands like shure Sennheiser etc..
Asked by: Sankaran M.
IFB is not a brand and the the neckloop features a mono 3.5mm jack that would be compatible with many wireless bodypack receivers. Interruptible foldback (IFB), also known as interrupted foldback or interruptible feedback, is a monitoring and cueing system used in television, filmmaking, video production, and radio broadcast for one-way communication from the director or assistant director to on-air talent or a remote location.

Is the earpiece completely hidden?

Is the earpiece completely hidden?
Asked by: Huss
The PSC FPSC0037 does not protrude beyond the ear. If looking at a person who is in close proximity and wearing the earpiece, it is not visible when looking directly at their face or if they are looking directly into a camera. If the person has their head turned to that side so there is a clear view of the ear, the earpiece looks like an in-ear monitor or hearing aid which can easily be hidden by hair. It is designed to blend in under stage lighting so it is not distracting to the audience.

question

Does the neckloop have a 3.5 mm jack? Would it be compatible with an Iphone?
Asked by: Brian L.
All you need is a $7 Apple Lightning port to 3.5mm adapter and you're good to go (unless you're using an iPhone 4 or earlier with a 3.5mm port you can jack directly). *I previously incorrectly said that you couldn't use the phone to take live direction. You can. It essentially works just like a Bluetooth earbud in that way, but don't expect the audio or phone call fidelity of AirPods or other premium earbuds.

question

For this to work I need to purchase the body pack also?(Meaning I'm in one location and the person with the ear piece in another)..Thanks
Asked by: Junior M.
The PSC Wireless IFB Inductive Earpiece communicates with the included neck loop which features a 3.5mm jack that would physically connect to the headphone jack of a wireless receiver. To complete the system your will need both a transmitter and receiver. The Comtek IFB system is a popular choice. See B&H# COPR216 and B&H# COM216.

question

Can I plug this kit into an mp3 player, or do I need the bodypack?
Asked by: Edward L.
You may plug this directly into the headphone output of an MP3 player, but the audio will only be a left or right channel of a stereo signal, unless your player has a stereo/mono setting. The inductive loop offers a mono 3.5mm male plug.Suitable for adults or children, the flesh-colored earpiece is easily concealed and remains hidden thanks to the fact that there are no wires running directly to the ear. The neckloop fits comfortably concealed underneath a shirt or blouse and connects to a bodypack receiver (sold separately)
