The On-Stage MS7700B is a microphone stand with a tripod base. It has a zinc midpoint locking clutch for stability on stage and boasts a height-adjustment range of 36 to 63". Its tripod base folds when the stand is not in use, and when it is in use, it will remain stable even on irregular surfaces. Plastic end caps are in place to reduce floor vibrations, while a clip-on cable holder is useful for securing cables to the stand. At the end, you'll find a 5/8"-27 solid threaded upper shaft.

    MS7700B Euro-Style Microphone Stand is rated 3.6 out of 5 by 14.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good stand, except when folded up Though lightweight, this stand is as stable and generally well made as stands costing a lot more. But there's one downside: when you fold up the stand, the legs don't lock in position -- unlike every other stand I own, the legs just flop around willy-nilly. This makes the stand awkward to store and transport. I own some other inexpensive on-stage stands that don't have this problem, so I'm not sure which ones do and which ones don't. But I wouldn't buy this model again, unless I was going to leave it permanently set up (in which case, I'd have bought something better anyway). Though it's a good value for the price, I'd have gladly paid a few bucks more to get something that doesn't flop around when folded up.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Easy-to-Use Microphones I'm a wedding officiant and used these mics (I got two of them) as speaker stands for my Behringer Europort EPA150 speakers. The speakers are an odd (European?) size and I had a hard time finding the right stands for them. These microphone stands work perfectly! They're easy to use and set up. I didn't raise them up too high so they felt pretty sturdy. The wedding was a super windy day and the stands didn't wobble. Raised any higher they might get top heavy, but I had no problem with them and am really glad I bought them.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Horrible Stand! I bought this tripod to hold my wireless microphone when shooting live events. Not only did the rubber feet easily fall off but the stand wouldn't hold the microphone in position and kept falling! Needless to say, I didn't get the proper audio due to this unstable piece of equipment while on the job. Save your money, avoid the headache, and invest in another stand. Poor quality!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good Enough We have a batch of these, and they're alright. My only real complaint is that I wish the height adjustment collar provided more tension. Other than that, they're pretty cheap but they work, and the price makes them a worthwhile buy for most people. The only use I would seriously not recommend is touring, or any other environment where they stand to receive a lot of abuse.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Solid Stand For $, it's a good deal. The stand itself is well built, and it works fine for my SDC mics. The only complaint I have is that the cable clips that hold the mic cable close to the stand break easily (they are plastic). It's not that big of a deal, because you can tape the cable to the stand. I would buy the same stand again.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not a Cheap cheap stand Honestly, I had very low expectations when I ordered this stand. Shows just how wrong you can be. It's actually more stable and more sturdy than I expected. Hardware is good. Clutch is good. Base is strong and stable. It's light weight and portable.
