    On-Stage ASVS6B reviews

ASVS6BL 6" Pop Blocker Windscreen is rated 3.9 out of 5 by 15.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good, Not Great Filter itself works great and is par in quality. Goose-neck is short about 5 and doesn't flex well, do to it's stiffness it also tends to lose position easily. Clamp pivots nicely but the clamp itself isn't suited for all stands or surfaces. Spring tension is sufficient for large diameter stands but for smaller ones it tends to shift and then fall or twist so filter is out of position. I was able to help alleviate this by adding a strong rubber band on opposite (open) side of clamp. I would suggest only using this filter for setups that allow a rather close clamping proximity to your mic while maintaining a rather straight attachment to stand or base.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Didn't care much for it I didn't see much difference when recording with and without the pop blocker. I use Yeti THX-Certified USB Condenser Microphone by Blue Microphone, and besides the fact that microphone has the clearest sound I've ever heard, I couldn't attach that pop blocker to my mike. Quite honestly, it is huge!!! And the clip doesn't open as much, so I had to place a book under my microphone, then attach the pop blocker to a few pages of my book and move the goose neck around a few times. My desk was crowded because of the paraphernalia I had to use in order to place the pop blocker adequately. I used it just once, for me it is not worth the trouble - but again, I have a great mike... Product wise, it does its job.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Needs improvement but works effectively The construction is nice however the clamp is not strong enough to support the weight and tends to loosen. The neck is a bit short and tends to spring back rather than stay fully where you bend it. A friend borrowed it to try it for his international web radio shows and liked it. It is still a good performer for the price and well built. Expertise: Mobile entertainer and web media producer

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This Pop Blocker works great ! Im using a Blue mic snowball Usb condenser micraphone with this pop filter that I purchased for a great price and it's amazing it's size covers well enuff around the micraphone and catches all large rushes of air Puh Puh power P'z and enhances the quality of your vocals pod casting or chat or recording. The gooseneck is quite flexable but the clip on it is definitly made for verticle use. I have it clipped on my desk and angled in front of the mic. Overall I am very pleased with this Pop Blocker. Thanks B&H good looking out.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Functional, not ideal Pop screen works as it should. The bendable arm is a bit wonky. It does not stay bent and tends to straighten itself out a bit. May not be an issue depending on the user's setup, such as if the target mic is a stand rather than a tabletop.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not a bad pop filter I use this with a Yeti Blue Mic. It is better than nothing but not as good as some others. The plastic clip is also kind of flimsy and cheap and doesn't allow to clip at a 90 degree angle.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Overpriced The neck is just brealy long enough to cover the microphone at the correct angle, and doesn't stay very stiff. Wish I didn't buy this.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for the money! Fits perfectly on my RDE boom arm and covers my mic well. Durable enough for the money and does the job! Sweet!
