SS-7761B - Aluminum Reversible Shaft Speaker Stand is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 16.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent value for the price! These are lightweight and a great product for the price. The security pin (goes through the vertical riser pole) that secures the pole from falling down in case of failure in the clamp is a great design. My only complaint about this product is the plastic tightening hardware, for two reasons: a. it can be damaged when transporting/storing the stands, i.e. loading and unloading a truck. b. they have to be VERY tightly clamped to secure the stand. i am using a very lightweight (20#) speaker and was surprised at how tight i had to make the lower clamp the keep the stand from collapsing. it was a bit uncomfortable to do so since all of the parts there are plastic. overall, still a great product for the price!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The definition of price & performance These all aluminum speaker stands are top-notch. I am comparing them to the brand-name stands these replace that were more expensive yet of lesser quality. the SS-7761B's have larger-diameter tubing, robust rubber feet and a real smooth tight fit/feel. I really appreciate the drilled center shaft with the safety pins - This allows me to never over-tighten the collars. The tapered main shaft is wonderful and elegant. I would choose these over the Big Name in stands even if they are the same price. On-Stage has a real winner here.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great stand - awesome price! I use these stands to support yamaha sv-clubv 12 speakers for an acoustic solo act. I could have gotten better/more expensive stands, but as this is a side gig(3-4 gigs or so a month)I couldn't justify the cost. Still, I wanted something dependable. I tried a comparable model of a store brand, but it was useless so I took them back. As soon as I took these out of the box I could tell they were a better quality. Long term untested and the plastic collars might be an issue over time, but still you can't beat the value.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from What more could you possibly ask for? These stands are great! They are really sturdy and stable, but yet they're lightweight and have a pretty small footprint when open. The non-slip feet are fantastic on any surface. The reversible center pole allows for just about any speaker to be mounted on the stand. Plus, these stands just look good! What more could you ask for?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect Stand for my Roland AC90 My Roland AC90 is now off the ground, near ear level, and it sounds GREAT! The SS-77618 is one h*ll-of-a-stand - industrial strength construction, set it at any height, and it looks good to boot! AND it's nearly $10 cheaper than it's competition...! There's absolutely no reason NOT to buy it!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from ok for the price It held my JRX115 speaker up.... a little shaky but it didnt come crashing down. The strength of the stand is just fine, the knobs that tighten the stand are made of plastic.... kindy silly as i almost cracked it. Over all.... for the price you pay for this its a decen stand.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great stands at a good price These stands were perfect for me, excellent height range, very lightweight makes moving them easy, and take up barely any space. With an 80 lb capacity, they can hold pretty much any speaker and the reversible mounting shaft makes them practically universal. Great product!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Lightweight, does its job Nice stands, lightweight, but a little wobbly when set in full height with 15 powered speakers. Would prefer better quality knobs, but for the price, and as long as you take care of it, these should last for a few years.
