The black DVO-2 DV Organizer Camera Case from PortaBrace is designed to hold a compact Mini DV camcorder and accessories. It is made from 1000-denier Cordura fabric with a new, slip-resistant, easy-clean rubber bottom. A universal cradle and a tie-down strap hold the camera in place within the bag. Actual dimensions? The specs say "18x10x10" but I have the " 17 x 8 8.5" selected. I want the "18x10x10" but dont want the rain cover it make you purchase if you actually select the "18x10x10". Is this product "18x10x10" even though i have the "17 x 8 8.5" selected?

Is it possible for the Sony fs7 to fit if the bag if the veiwfinder is not on?
This bag might be just a bit to tight for the Sony FS7. However Porta Brace does make some bags geared specifically for the FS7 that I think would be more appropriate. There is even a version that allows you to have the viewfinder on, the RIG-FS7XT.

Is the Porta Brace DVO2U-QS-M4 a true 18x10x10? This important to fit the rig with Matt box that is 9" wide.
The interior dimensions of the PortaBrace DVO2U-QS-M4 DV Case with QS-M4 Quick Slick Mini Rain Cover (Signature Blue) are (L x W x H) 18.00 x 10.00 x 9.0" / 45.7 x 25.4 x 22.9 cm. Portabrace provides this info and we believe it to be correct with this case model.
