Nikon PC Screw-Lock to Household #5-1S - Straight is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 6.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good standard product Nikon PC sockets have an additional screw-lock feature. It's almost a reason by itself to use Nikons in a studio setting. I've never heard of a PC cord with a screw-lock detaching itself while shooting; whereas that certainly cannot be said of a Hasselbald type connector. Obviously the PC cord needs to have the complimentary Nikon thread screw-lock to advantage itself of Nikon's thoughtfulness. The straight 12 cord is fine for most uses -- do you really need a coiled 5' cord tailing after the screw-lock ?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It's a cord! What can I say. It's a cord! I bough it for my Nikon digital cameras so the pc doesn't fall out while I'm shooting and it works wonderfully.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect I've always used Paramount cords (30+years) and they're always great. This 12er is perfect between my larger flashheads and the camera mounted on a flashbracket where the camera rotates. The coil cords always got in the way.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good for DIY Used a couple of these for a secure connection to the camera and strobe. Put 28 feet of lamp cord between them for an inexpensive 30 foot sync cable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works like a charm I have several of these on hand as I use the old fashioned Norman flash heads for Motorsports photography and these always work for me without fail.
