SH6X230 Little Bro Stage Box Snake w/6 Send and 2 Return Channels- 30' (9.1 m) is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 24.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from The snake for a band on a budget The Little Bro came in real handy during our first major gig: instead of a tangle of mic chords, we had the Bro 30-foot snake running to the sound guy. Connecting the numbered XLR plugs to the mixer was easy. This snake is affordable and well built. We are already contemplating to order a second snake just for the drum mics. We never bothered to mike the drums, but having a detailed drum mix will give us another opportunity to improve our live sound. By the way: I know about potential signal loss through long snakes, but with this 30-footer, we certainly had pristine vocals going to the mixer. B&H's price on this little snake can't be beat!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect solution to clean up the stage I bought this snake for a permanent install. We ran it from 4 stage boxes back to our main snake to eliminate having to run every line to the main snake. with 6 xlr's and the 2 send/return 1/4 it provides more than enough options for routing signals. We can use 1 1/4 for a monitor send and the other to return a guitar line, keeping the DI box out of site with the main snake. The price was by far the best at B&H too! The only thing I'm not sure about yet is the side-mounted jacks. Sure, it's less stress on the cables, but it also takes up more floor space, and limits the proximity the snake can be place along walls and other fixtures.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Handy Little Item I use the little bro 30 footer as a drop snake, extending from my main snake to reduce individual cable runs in live sound production, on location in clubs and theaters. It is easy to pack and carry, taking up little space. Both XLR and 1/4 inch connectors make for flexible configuration.Audio quality is fine, no hum or buzz.I am easy on my gear, but I can see that this cable may not be as rugged as more expensive snakes. It has molded cables at the connectors which will make repair, if needed, more difficult.I purchased it in a pinch but I am satisfied with the price and performance.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Handy Problem Solver This is a simple yet vital piece of equipment. It keeps things neat, saves time in set-up and avoids massive tangles. I purchased this for radio play stage work. I need to set-up and tear down quickly. Everyone offers to help but things need to be done in specific ways to prevent damage, loss or over stuffing the cases. The Hosa Little Bro is the perfect solution. It's very well constructed and amazingly compact. I wish I had this long ago. There are no negative attributes. It does the job. If in time I need greater length or more channels, I can get one to fit my needs.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from All you need for a small project studio. If you're trying to run a small scale project studio where cable management and mobility is an issue, this little bro is perfect for it. It by no means is the highest quality snake you can get, but especially for the price it is all that you'll need. My main issue with the box is that it doesn't have a locking/clicking mechanism of some kind for the XLR connections, so it is quite easy to accidentally yank a cable from the input if someone trips over a cable. Keeping good cable management around it should avoid that, but it can happen.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Snake; lives up to Hosa standards We are using this as an extension from some wall jacks in a church setting. It was exactly right length and was a discrete substitute that eleminated a trip hazard. The musicians and others are much safer now that the clutter is gone. Good quality all around, no complaints. I would definitely buy again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Better than a large one I started with a 24x8 snake and now we use multiple sub snakes like this 30' Little Bro 6x2, as well as the 25' 8x0 and 50' one, too. These Hosa Little Bro snakes are our go-to boxes now. They keep the stage a lot neater and it's really nice to have multiple drops around the stage, especially large ones, than having one big snake in the middle. B&H has the best prices around on these little gems, even after tax.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Handy, sturdy, versatile. Previous snake did not have the quarter-inch returns They give me a line with a monitor upfront and a line to carry a piano or some other electric instrument without messing with the six mics, which I use to set up a three station stage for acoustic instruments. I'm sure it's great to mic a drum set. Good snake. Not expensive.
