PlaLupe 10x is rated 4.1 out of 5 by 8.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not suitable for critical focus assessment The standard use for a 10x loupe is to assess critical focus on negatives or slides. I have one of these and figured even though the optics are mediocre, it should be good enough in the center. I was mistaken. I have some slides of the Golden Gate Bridge where the suspension cables look like one hazy cable. When viewed with better loupes, even lower-power ones, the cables are clearly visible as a bundle of 4 individual cables. In other words, it is useless for assessing focus on film, or looking at stamps, or anything that needs crisp optics. I would guesstimate the resolution of the Peak as being around 30 to 50 lp/mm in the center at best.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from brite and clear all plastic construction, but the stand is huge and lets tons of light in. comes apart into 5 pieces, with the two lenses separate from each other. good for cleaning, but a sealed design would keep it from ever needing to be cleaned. i keep a couple on my desk at all times, and the price means i dont worry too much if one gets misplaced or scratched

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great loupe I used this with my Graflex Speed Graphic. The 10x magnification is perfect for focusing on fine details without zooming in too far.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Suitable economical loupe Does as it says and the price is fair. It's not made out of heavy duty materials so if you treat it well it will treat you well.
