question

Is it possible to combine it with the DK-20C?
Asked by: Benoit M.
Unfortunately no, they are not compatible with each other. Both eyepiece covers use the same attachment point on the camera and would require one or the other to be used at any one time. They cannot be combined.

question

will it work with nikon d5100??
Asked by: Anonymous
If the DK-22 adapter fits the D5100, then the DK-21M will too. Those are made for the same eyepiece size. The DK-21M is a fairly weak magnifier that helps some at the expense of eye point. On the D3200 I can still see the full field if I put my eye closer to the finder. The DK-22 and DG-2 combination will give more magnification but you will not see the whole frame through it. I have both these adapters for the D3200, and they both fit the same. I do not know why the D5100 would be listed as incompatible, but the adapter will physically fit, and I don't see why it would not work the same as it does on other cameras that use the same square eyepiece. It's possible that for some reason the internal magnification of the D5100 differs from others, and that you won't get a full frame view. But it will fit. I regularly use a DK-21M on my D3200, and find it helps some with manual focusing, and it also changes the diopter slightly in the positive direction. If you're farsighted and find the diopter adjustment does not go far enough in the + direction, this will help. It does require a closer eyepoint, and I've found it helpful to remove the rubber eyecup on mine.

question

Do you still have a full field of view? I'm worried that it will alter the actual frame representation in the view finder thus altering composition.
Asked by: Christopher
Field of view has decreased slightly and all that I need gets into a frame.I use this device constantly and I have no problem with composition. Looking in the view finder is very convenient.

question

How does it work on a d3000?
Asked by: Warren K.
If your eyepiece is removable then it will probably work, ask the salesman for sure. I use it on a Nikon D610 and it is great.
