    On-Stage KS7365-EJ reviews

    KS7365EJ Folding-Z Two-Tier Keyboard Stand is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 25.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Best keyboard stand I have ever owned! I have been using this stand for my Roland RD700gx and Roland A800 Midi Controller keyboard for about two weeks now. I find it very sturdy, with no annoying vibrations at all. I purchased the carrying case for it as well since I am using it for playing at gigs. The carrying case makes it much easier to transport. The setup takes a little practice, and you have you be careful since the metal parts swing out, fold and unfold. The instructions are a bit useless and the only real negative is that the two bars make up the floor base are easy to trip on as you sit and get up. I also wish there was one more notch between the lowest and next lowest setting.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Sturdy but awkward at seating position. I use this at home only and dont plan to break it down a lot. Its very sturdy and adjustable and generally I liked the stand for that. I took 2 stars away. One because I want to use it in the seating position (all the way down). Sliding the frame to the low position means keyboard is furthest away from the player so foot bar pokes out froward past the keyboard keys. I keep tripping over these bars and it also means crossbar is also closer to the knees. Its fine for me but a tall person may hit these crossbars. I took another star away because when i was unfolding one of the Z parts the 2 halves slid apart and broke the flimsy clip that is suppose to stop the 2 halves from sliding apart. I was able to put this back together but this clip should be metal. Im most unhappy about the protruding foot bar but if this was raised to standing position it wouldn't be a problem. I was satisfied enough to keep the product and thought it was good value and high quality apart from the plastic clips.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exceptional Stand I use this product in my home studio, but if I ever needed to tour with two keyboards I would definitely use this stand. I have an Akai MPK88 and a Waldorf Blofeld Keyboard, and they both fit great on this stand. The MPK is a beast, weighing around 70lbs, but this stand has no problem keeping it stable enough to strike the keys precisely without wobbling. It takes maybe 15 minutes to set up the stand the first time, but I'd imagine you could put it together faster once you have a little practice. I highly recommend this stand.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic stand, absolutely love it Not too much to say about this keyboard stand other than it is a solid piece of equipment! Was able to get the whole thing put together in under 15 minutes, lots of room for adjustments to be made. Very sturdy, does exactly what I want!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great, solid stand for the price. This is ideal for my studio. It's sturdy, solid, has a small footprint, and exceptionally adjustable. I, surprisingly, found the very lowest setting to be the perfect height despite being lower than the x-style stand I had been previously using. Both tiers are rock solid and show no movement when you play. Strong enough for an old Roland, weighted keyboard. Set up was easy, smooth, and without issue. The design lends tons of flexibility, also. I do wish there were height adjustments between the lowest setting and those above. There's about a 5 gap between the 24 setting and the other heights. Still, I don't see any immediate need. At the lowest height, the feet do stick out and serve as a tripping hazard - I had read this in someone else's review. Not a deal breaker in any way. This is not a stand that I would gig with. It's possible, but you have to pull the whole thing apart to make it mobile. If you do want to gig with this, check out the YouTube video for best practices when traveling with it. All in all, this is a solid 4-star stand. Really well made and great for all keyboardists- though not ideal for fast setups/breakdowns.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Perfect 2 Synth Stand I needed a stand to hold a Nord Lead 2x and a Prophet 6 in my studio and this fit the bill perfectly. Unbelievably rock solid, easily adjustable, no wobble whatsoever and looks nice too. Other reviewers have found issue with the height of the stand at various settings but I'm 5'10 and it is very comfortable to play on both tiers while standing AND sitting at the lowest height settings. Also, the legs of this stand sticking out are not an issue at all, don't let that deter you from buying this stand. You can trip on the legs of ANY stand so I don't see why this is an issue. Took off a star because my unit was clearly a return and was not re-packed well at all. Box was torn and gaping open when I received it and the parts were rolling around loose inside the box. Random bits of cardboard torn from another box were in there for some reason. Part of it had already been assembled too. C'mon mannnnnnnnn

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Stand is Okay Probably Wouldn't have Bought It Shipping packing was damaged on arrival. There were tools inside the box that didn't belong. Don't know if was damaged and repackaged in transit or shipped that way but another reviewer received his stand in a repackaged box also. My stand was bent and scratched and the knobs were scraped but not as bad as going through the hassle of sending it back for a replacement. Plus my keyboards cover up the imperfections. As far as functionality goes, I feel the feet stick out to much for my setup location. Also, when the lower tier is raised up the stand feels like it could tip over backwards if bumped to hard. This could be because I have a Akai mpk2 49 on the bottom tier and a yamaha moxf6 on the top. With my setup, the stand is sturdier all the way down.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid built and very stable. Excellent product. I use the On-Stage KS7365EJ with my Yamaha Keyboard and Ferrofish B4000+ Hammond B3 Module. I wish the Keyboard support arms were longer, as the floor legs stick out to far when the stand is lower. It is easy to trip on the floor legs, as they are to long. I also use the stand with MIDI Bass Pedals. Also, it would be nice to have a small bag for the extra knobs when the stand is broken down for travel. The Ferrofish B4000+ sits on the second tier shelf. Otherwise, it is solid for playing and a very excellent product. Love it.
