The Tram TR79 supplies power to Tram TR50 lavalier microphones that are pre-wired for use with Audio Limited wireless transmitters, with 6-pin Lemo inputs. A standard 3-pin XLR output provides a direct connection to standard preamps, mixers, recording gear, etc. This TR79 features negative bias wiring and will power the TR50 with an LR44 internal battery only (battery not included).

Tram TR79 Overview

The Tram TR79 supplies power to Tram TR50 lavalier microphones that are pre-wired for use with Audio Limited wireless transmitters, with 6-pin Lemo inputs. How long does the battery last?

How long does the battery last?

Hours? No wonder! I noticed the lav signal seemed to weaken over a period of couple days. I was hoping it'd last weeks or months. Maybe I'll mod mine with a 1.5V AA battery.
