question

This doesn't seem to be working on a Canon 5D Mk III + PW Plus II + 600ex-rt. Can someone please confirm if it's working for the same setup? Thank you for checking.
Asked by: Samantha V.
I have used this with my Canon flash off-camera. Flash mounted to the referenced product & miniphone into my PW Plus II. Obviously a PW on camera (also, 5D Mark III) to transmit signal to off-camera flash. It works as expected.

question

Does this support High Speed Sync? I have a D600, SB700 and 2 Pocketwizard PlusX tranceivers, but cannot get high speed sync to work off camera. Im stuck at 1/200. On camera I can use HSS, so it is either this thing, or my pocketwizards holding me back, I assume. The german instructions that came with this product were not very useful.
Asked by: Dustin
Sorry to say, I haven't tried this product for High Speed Syncing so I can't say if it works or not.

question

It says not for Minolta/Sony Flashes. I'm guessing that it's referring to the old style hotshoe from Sony. Does anyone know if this works with the HVL-F60M flash? It uses a standard hot shoe type.
Asked by: Andrew D.
The HVL-F60m has Sony's new multi-interface shoe, and for the most part it can be used with most standard shoe accesories (however the fit from one accessory to the next can vary slightly due to the still somewhat unique design of this new shoe). You shouldnt have any issues using it with this sync cable.

question

Can this for sure be used with a Nikon d7000 camera and a Nikon sb700 flash? Thanks.
Asked by: Anonymous
Unfortunately, neither the Nikon SB-700 nor the Nikon D7000 DSLR camera has a 1/8 or 3.5mm miniphone sync terminal for use with the Paramount Miniphone to Female Hot Shoe Sync Cord. This would work only if you were using the Nikon SB-700 off-camera and connecting the unit to a PocketWizard radio remote (or other brand radio remote that uses 1.8 or miniphone input sync terminal). If you are simply trying to get the flash off-camera, you would need an off-camera shoe cable, such as either the Nikon SC-29 TTL Off-Camera Shoe Cord with AF Assist, B&H # NISC29, or the Vello TTL-Off-Camera Flash Cord for Nikon SLR - 1.5' (0.5 m), B&H # VEOCSN15, for your needs.
