Bushnell 120842 Reviews

8x42 Legacy WP Binocular is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 59.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Heavy but good I bought these binoculars to replace the binoculars I've been taking to football games for 30 years. They are powerful enough so you can see the details of the game even in the nosebleed section, and wide enough so you can see a lot of the field. The only downside is they're a little heavy and after 4-5 hours you definitely feel them around your neck. Adjustable eye cups are good for people who wear glasses, but I still don't think they get your eye close enough to the lens for wide-angle viewing. So if you need your glasses to look through the binoculars, these might not be for you. Even with these downsides, the price is right, and the optics are very good.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product, fast shipping!! Binoculars very clear. Waterproof. Fog proof. Used someone else's on our holiday in Hawaii and were really pleased with them, so we bought the very same model for ourselves. I can leave my glasses on to use the binoculars, a nice plus. Price was good. I thought they would cost a lot more so it was a pleasant surprise when we found out they weren't expensive. The shipping was very fast, ordered them while in Hawaii & picked them up in a USA shipping place when we got home. Would order from this B & H company again, as we didn't have any problems at all and we are definitely happy with these binoculars.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Yes I would buy Bushnell Products again. This product is used for general use vacationing, fishing, etc. I am especially happy with the accuracy of the description of the specs. Very satisfied with the bright vivid images and clarity seen through these binoculars. The fact that they are fog proof and waterproof is an added benefit which makes them extremely perfect for general usage and then some. No need to worry about getting caught in the rain. An excellent purchase from a trusted vendor such as B&H Photo. Thanks1

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Whale Watchers Delight This Is an Excellent Binocular for whale watching, sporting events, or stargazing. It is very sharp (up to 60% field of view) and very minimal chromatic aberation. Very wide FOV. Comparable to nikon action EX, but image is slightly soft at edge (Nikon have better image at corners) but for this price, it is a great bargain. f you need a not too expensive, tough, water proof pair of binoculars for Hunting, Sports, or whale watching - I suggest you give the Bushnell Legacy WP 8x42 some serious consideration.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is my fifth pair. I carry a pair in my truck and my Polaris Ranger. I have given several pair to family and friends. One pair I ran over, they didn't break but the focus was off. Because of the great low price I just bought another pair. They have a clear wide view. They are rugged and last a long time. They take daily punishment and use. I have found nothing better for the price. My brother in law was looking at a pair of binoculars that would have cost him 10 times as much. After he compared them with the Legacy he got the Bushnell. They were just as good and stronger. T

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Quality, Low price These bynocs are a great value. It meets all of the specifications for quality glasses and does so at a much lower price than others. What you do get is more weight, but to me, after years of trying different types, it's worth it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I hit a grand slam home run buying these. These are my sixth pair on binoculars. It took that many times to find the perfect set for my needs. I wanted exceptional clarity, high quality, light weight, fully multi-coated optics, and premium BaK-4 prisms in a set that are comfortable to use. These deliver on all my criteria. I took them out to my let my astronomy club buddies try them out and they loved them. The field of view is huge! Dubhe and Merak (the two end stars in the dipper) fit comfortably in the same FOV with room to spare. There was no false color or chromatic aberration whatsoever on the full moon. Pleiades looked like crisp diamonds in this set. It was so much easier to find the Andromeda Galaxy in these compared to any of my other binoculars...even under a brightly lit sky from the full moon. These are my favorite binoculars now. Will be selling off all the others.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great value for the money I use these for birding. Specifically, locating birds that will become photographic subjects. These binocs focus easily, and work well even in low light situations. They are a bit heavy, and may be too large for someone with small hands to comfortably use the center focus.
