    Behringer 502 reviews

XENYX 502 5-Channel Compact Audio Mixer is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 42.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works well with a low price! We are using this mixer as a monitor mix for our church drummer. The single XLR input is from main console and this allows the drummer to set his own level (from soft to deafening) without affecting the sound in the house because of a blaring monitor. It is compact, comes with a power supply and is very easy to setup. I wish it allowed for battery power so that it was more portable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from AWESOME I use this for voice over work in final cut pro. I needed a little mixer to pair with my Sennheiser MKH 60. It is perfect. I wanted quiet, easy to use and phantom power. Not so good things- if it is plugged in, it's on. Why no power switch? Also It would be nice if there were rubber feet under it, but I guess I can buy some. Finally in a perfect world it would have two headphone jacks (mini and regular)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Clean Audio, Ease of use, Great Price The XENYX 502 5-Channel Compact Audio Mixer is great. I use it with my Bass Guitar and effects pedals to manage the volume of a stereo effects setup. The mixer does not change the sound of the signal coming in if you leave the EQ settings flat. The mixer is simple and very easy to use. I did not need to look at the manual at all. For the price you cannot get a better deal on a simple mixer suitable for home use. I only wish it had a power switch.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works Great, Easy To Use I use this mixer to practice my bass guitar silently. This mixer has an input jack for my headphones, and a line-in and line-out. I use the line-in for my ipod and the main channel for my bass and I am all set to play along to my favorite songs. A much better option than the Pocket Rock-It I had previously. The mixer is more versatile and my ipod sounds much better through the mixer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just what I expect from Behringer! I bout this for my son who is a DJ ad it works just fine. I did some audio recording to my camera using this mixer, just as a test, and I was really impressed with how quite this little baby is. Lots of headroom to work with. If you are thinking about buying this mixer place your order now!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great I know nothing about mixers. I got this so I could add a microphone to a home speaker system so I could have a karaoke effect in a large basement room with lots of wall and ceiling speakers. I sued this in conjunction with a receiver from a home theater surround sound system (YHT-395 5.1 Channel Home Theater in a Box System) and a cheap wireless mic system (DKW-Duo Dual Handheld Wireless Microphone System). Add a universal iPod dock and you've got music with singalong. Works great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excelllent Economy Mixer I do voice overs from my home studio and have used very many mixers over my career of nearly three decades, but had never directly owned a Behringer. My Mackie 1202 VLZ Pro mixer had gotten very buggy after many years of use, so I decided to give Behringer a try, since the best sound man I know swears that Behringer offers equal quality at lower prices. He was absolutely right ... the XENYX 502 has very clean sound, nice compact size and you certainly can't beat the price.
