    Porta Brace PB-2700F reviews

PB-2700F Hard Case with Foam Interior (Blue) is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 28.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome case and Price Almost everything Porta Brace sells is too expensive for a pro-sumer/enthusiest like myself. But this product was hitched to the DJI Phantom Quadcopter we bought and the price was so good, we went for it! The case has 4 latches, a lock, it's blue and the brown hangle has some cool surface on it that make it grip well. There's also a second handle on the otherside that folds out if you need it. Pick and Pluck foam worked well, but if you're using the DJI Phantom, it's tight. It works, but make sure you plan it out first, and also you'll have to take the propellers off when storing. So really happy with this. Stoked that it feels so high end, but I'm not hauted by what I spent.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great case, but may require tweaking. We bought this because we had bought an Epson PowerLite D6250 projector and this was the first case listed under suggested accessories. Also, we had previously bought the same projector and the same model case and it fit perfectly. The new case we got (same model) had slightly different foam in it though. You pluck out blocks of the foam, but the layer you pluck out isn't as deep as the previous one we bought, so it required a little manual cutting into the next layer to get it to fit right. Kind of pain but the end result is still a great case, so I can't complain too much.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic Case I was able to move my lenses from 3 soft camera bags to this one simple and secure storage solution. The pick and pluck foam allows you create the perfect opening to cradle your expensive lenses and gear. I am so pleased with the quality of this case that I will be buying a second smaller one to carry my camera bodies. The Porta Brace is a less expensive alternative to the Pelican cases and offers the same protection as the Pelican cases.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Helpful salesperson For a helicopter DJI Phantom, this was recommended and the employee helped me learn about it while I was trying to eyeball some of the pelican cases. I love these latches! Much easier to use than those on Pelican case, which I use for the cameras. I also love having side latches on the case, and the fact that sides are shaped in a way that keeps latches from sticking outside of the dimensions of the case.Strap-like reinforcements, in line with latches may be just an aesthetic detail, but they look functional. Case feels lightweight but holds shape well and does not flex. I feel like I could safely stand on it's side without cracking it or flexing more than 1/2, at worst, and probably somewhere between 1/4 and 1/2, with my 185 lbs.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Porta Brace Hard Case Our camera club purchased this case for a new projector. The projector is larger than most (18 x 13 x 5 in) - so finding a case was difficult. This fit the bill perfectly. The only issue was with the foam - which is adjustable to fit - within limits. When enough was taken out to accommodate the projector's depth (5 inches), there was a scant 1/2 inch of very light foam remaining on the bottom. So - I purchased a sheet of one inch, dense foam which we put on the bottom. There is enough room alongside for the cables. Excellent case.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from An OK case - pros and cons I have quite the collection of Porta Brace bags and Pelican cases; so to buy a Porta Brace case was a first. It arrived today. Good handles, good latches. Nice solid feel. No pressure regulator - not really important for me but it might be to others. The problem I really have is the foam. The cube sizes are larger that those on Pelican cases which means that you are less accurate in carving out slots for your equipment. It also means that is is much easier to break off neighboring foam cubes to the ones you wanted to remove - the larger the cube of fiat, the easier it is to break off. I had to resort to Gorilla Glue to give my foam partitions some renewed structural strength. Not ideal. I think I will stick to Porta Brace bags and Pelican cases.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great case, great price Just took 7 flights in 5 days with this case checked in on all flights. It came through like a champ. Great protection, good quality materials and workmanship. The only problem is the diced foam. That whole system just doesn't work very well. If you keep a snug fit on items, within a week of use, items will have ripped through more layers of foam and compartments will begin to tear into each other. Just the weight of the gear is too much for the thin bands of foam that hold the cubes together.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect fit! I have my 5d mark iii, 30d, four L lenses (including a 70-200 f/2.8), three 580ex-ii flashes and battery packs, an H4N audio recorder and mic in this case with plenty of room for 1-2 more lenses. Even with all of that, it's not terribly heavy, though I will be getting some sort of wheels for it. It's four clasps are super easy to open and close, and they are very secure. I am confident that my equipment is safe from any/all transportation required.
