Rosco Roscolux 116 Tough White Diffusion Overview

Rosco's premier range of filters are manufactured in a unique technology to insure the longest possible life under hot theatrical lights.

Three discrete layers are combined in a tri-extrusion process. By sealing the colored layer between two microscopically thin layers of clear film, dye migration is minimized and effective life is extended.

Diffusion filters are designed to alter the shadow characteristics or the beam shape of light.

I shoot lots of products on a daily bases for my job. This is just what I need to help manipulate the light. It's lightweight, easy to transport, and creates a beautiful broad diffused light. (I bounce off a large white wall). Exactly what I was looking for.

question

I'm a novice. If this filter is soft enough to roll up, how does one hold or mount it for use?
Asked by: Robert K.
you use little clips, clamps, clothespins, whatever to hold it over the light reflector...typically 3-4 little a clamps (small ones) will work. Tape is not advised as the heat of the light will melt the tape and make a mess. Be careful when you keep your modeling light for your lamp on as it can melt diffusion if left on full power for a while.
