    Ewa-Marine EM VP 2 reviews

VP2 Underwater Housing for Panasonic HVX200 is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 6.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from when you have to get wet.... I have used this bag (I feel bad calling it that) several times including shallow scuba diving to wet cave exploration. The bag is handy and water tight. However I would be careful in a cave given the sharp rocks...one puncture and it is all over. It is not the stablest (given is buoyancy) so that must be compensated for...great for shallow work. However condensation can be the death of you. love the bag

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for Panasonic AG-HMC150 We use the newer Panasonic AG-HMC150 and this VP2 EWA-Marine product was recommended directly from the manufacturer as compatible. It is, it does work great. We did fashion some internal foam to keep the lens in line with the glass but otherwise it works great. We strap it to the front of a sea kayak and take GREAT HD footage while kayaking in and out of sea caves in the Channel Islands off the central California coast.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from For the money its hard to imagine better Its basically the budget wet filming option, if we are honest, but it does the trick. I filmed from in a boat, from the side of a boat, behind a boat on a surfboard and under a boat for 2 weeks and it performed flawlessly. It says so in the instructions but if you are going down any deeper than 10 feet you will need to both inflate the bag by mouth (so the bag doesn't compress the buttons at depth) and add weights to counteract the air. Also, invest in a quality high volume reusable moister dehumidifier...its worth it. I would recommend coating the lens exterior with some type of anti-water coating (goggle de-fog or rain-ex) if you are planning on using this in a splash environment and avoid the widdest angle shots if possible. I had it as deep as 25 feet, and have no doubts it will do 33 feet. Its rated 4 stars because the screwtop enclosure is a pain and it requires a foam block to seat the camera.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Tool I have a shoot every year that requires me to be up to my waist in Lake Michigan. Until now, I've been nervous about waves splashing my camera. Now I can't wait to complete submerge some of my shots! At 10% the cost of the camera it protects, the investment is well worth it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great and inexpensive For the price, it is great. You do need weighs for it if you want to go deeper than arms length. It is not easy to adjust focus or iris but it is possible between shots through the finger inserts.
