Museo 09909 reviews

Silver Rag Paper (17" x 50' Roll) is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 8.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from I Keep Coming Back to Silver Rag I purchased an Epson 3880 wide format (17) printer a year ago and tried many inkjet papers from a range of manufacturers. I keep coming back to Museo Silver Rag as my preferred paper for my select prints that are archivally (if that's the word) framed. Heavy in weight but doesn't jam. Beautiful color reproduction and the surface can't (IMHO) be beat. I purchased the 17 roll because 17x25 cut sheets are not available and I wanted the capability to print large format prints to match the standard 3:2 DX format in addition to 17x22. My only issue is handling the roll to manually cut a perfectly square sheet that will be accepted by the printer, since the 3880 does not accept roll paper. That will be rectified when I purchase a large format paper trimmer (which I'll also order from B&H, my go-to store for all things photographic).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Paper I use this product to print fine art photography images as a student studying photography. The quality of this paper far surpass any other i have ever print as of now. Much finer then Epson premium luster. The only down side of this paper is the amount for the cost.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Truly Exhibition Quality I work for a museum in the imaging lab and was tasked with creating facsimile prints from scans of 100+ year old glass negatives to be part of a large exhibition. I chose Silver Rag because it really has the old B&W darkroom paper look. The surface is stunning, the blacks are gorgeous, the tones are great... But wait! There's more. While I do have a nice spectrophotometer and profiling software, I was pressed for time to make the first batch of prints, so I downloaded the ICC profiles from Museo's website for our 4880 and they were perfect, and saved me a couple hours by not having to make my own profile. The one word of caution for Epson printers (and likely for other printers with similar settings) is that Museo recommends using the Luster Paper print settings to get the right amount of ink, however the Silver Rag is MUCH thicker, so you will want to change the Platten Gap setting toWider. I had a couple prints where I got streaks of ink before I made that adjustment, but once I changed the Platten Gap setting in the printer driver it was perfect.I have gotten so many compliments on the quality of these prints, and I know so much of it comes to using high quality paper

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great paper I have been using Moab Somerset Museum Rag for a while because I love the color gamut and sharpness of that paper. This paper is close to as good in color rendition and is slightly sharper. I'm hooked. The paper is slightly more contrasty and the highlights are a little better defined. I'm using the ICC profile from Museo for this paper. Awesome prints and a great paper for this price!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from fine fine fine paper This paper is high-end printer paper that I use for deluxe, large collage works. Museo Silver Rag offers the highest quality. The color from my Epson printer is rich and true. Highly recommended.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So reasonable in bulk I have used this beautiful stuff for a long time, and am glad to find it still available. It's the best there is for B&W and B&W tinted IMHO. Roll is much more economical than sheet.
