    Rosco CTB Blue reviews

    # 3202 Full Blue CTB Color Conversion Gel Filter (20 x 24" Sheet) is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 41.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Coolin' Out... Being a fellow who loves tungsten, one still cannot go about life expecting to be in the same lighting situation every day, especially on a lower budget. When I do not have HMIs and have to mix daylight with tungsten instruments or have practical lights in a shot that need to not be ORANGE AS HELL, ROSCO gels are the fast, ANALOG, old-school solution. Every gaffer should have SOME in his/her kit.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Rosco in use since 1985 I've used Rosco gels since 1985 and prefer them over Lee gels. Years ago I compared them (and maybe Lee has improved their polymer base) and found the color to be more consistent and the polymer base to be more durable. The CTB gel typically sits in front of my hot lights when I'm shooting interiors. They are durable and can last a couple years if kept clean and cool.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Simple yet effective It's a gel that corrects 3200 light sources to 5600. It works well for that purpose. The downside to them is you will lose overall light intensity, and have to iris up, or add more lights - but this proves the case with most any gels.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Do you have orange people? I recently took a position at a church as the Media/Tech Director. As with most churches, the equipment was mostly outdated and set up improperly. With little budget to speak of, I had to make an old truss full of Par64 cans work for our move into HD video. These gels saved the day! They turned a stage full of orange people into nice white, crisp color corrected goodness. We used a combination of 3/4 and Full Blue CTB gels to set us up for a slow transition to LED's over the next few years.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Quality, does what its suppose to Can't go wrong with any gel from Rosco, works great and stands up to heat from lights that get hot. Used on Tungsten lights to color match daylight kino banks. Works great.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Makes yellow like neutral I'm using these to daylight correct hot lights. Takes the heat pretty well. I can attach them within a foot of the light and they're okay for short spurts.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Staple for your bag. Gels, gotta have them. Great for both special effects or balancing existing light with your flash, well, vice versa actually...
