Good lens but lens shade is worthless
As I said in previous post, the lens is great but I've now found the lens shade is worse that worthless. When the lens is wide open, the lens shade gets in the picture. It's soft plastic but I can't bend it in a way that will keep it out of the picture. Without the shade, you can't use the protective filter and I often have trouble with lens flare.

Economical way to add wide angle view
Economical way to add wide angle view to broadcast lens.Ordered the protective glass filter that was recommended in the paperwork that accompanied the lens. When it arrived, it doesn't fit - too big. Also, lens doesn't appear to have any internal filter threads.
