Cinegel filters are meticulously manufactured on a heat-resistant base polymer utilizing a patented deep-dyed technology for heat stability and superior color transmission.

On-line computerized colorimetry continuously monitors color and density against strict standards, thus assuring a reliable and consistent product.

AMBER RoscoSun Daylight Conversion filters are a range of amber filters that lower color temperature as needed. Although typically used on daylight 5500°K sources to balance with tungsten, the range offers a multitude of technical and aesthetic color correction possibilities.

#3407 Filter - RoscoSun CTO - 20x24" is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 32.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lots a warmth for that summer beach shot This gel met my expectations by warming up my subjects just but not too much. I use this on my on camera and off camera flash outdoors so I do not receive white out images of people. Nice alternative to using a gold reflector when its windy, like at the beach. Cut a few inches around your flash and use a rubber band to secure and it works great. Typically reduces light by 1/2 stop but that is only average of course. I havent had any negative issues with it since its only been a few weeks of use. I use it on a Metz 54MZ3 flash. Typically slide film using a Leica camera body.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quite useful... These are used with various strobes. They take 5500K light and match it to tungsten. Priceless for indoor work were your ambient will mix in, or making Daylight in the background turn really blue!! Good product, has to be trimmed to size, durable...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Chosen since 1985 I've used Rosco gels since 1985 and prefer them over Lee gels. Years ago I compared them (and maybe Lee has improved their polymer base) and found the color to be more consistent and the polymer base to be more durable. The CTO gel typically sits in front of my strobe when I'm shooting interiors. They are durable and can last years if kept clean and scratch-free. Depending on the strobe output color temperature, you may need to add more warming gels (or the 2xCTO gel) to get a perfect color balance.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just what the doctor ordered Shooting a senior portrait yesterday the clouds rolled in. A bit of creative lighting with the CTO and the warmth returned. This bit of plastic saved my shoot and the client was very pleased.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Quality Gel Great for converting flash/strobe light to tungsten. It does the job well, and the nice big sheet is good for either cutting down into various sizes for different speedlites, small diffusers and such, or using whole over smaller windows or softboxes. Minor nit pick is it it will pick up little dings and dents if improperly stored/handled, but I can't think of any gel that won't.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for hiding the flash I used this on my 580EX for reception shots at weddings. Just strapped some CTO to the flash, set my white balance to tungsten, and it really made the flash seem invisible in the pictures. Saves a bunch of time in post processing. Would highly recommend this to people who shoot under tungsten lighting often.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent I use these like crazy on my flashes. Just cut some strips and affix them with velcro. This allows me to color match my flashes to tungsten light. I also sometimes use this to warm up my light in the daylight. Good value. You can go through these quickly, but not a big deal, just cut another strip.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very useful The filter is very useful when used over speedlites and camera flashes, I got enough to even give away to my friends since I just need a small rectangle to cover the speedligh. It creates a warm color and diffuses the flash light a little bit. It help to improve the color of the pictures.
