Ideal for 56K to 32K conversion

I use this with my GoDox SL-60 and Amaran 60d 56k lights to convert to 32K with my softbox. Since the lights aren't hot, it's easy to hang the gel and still benefit from the extra punch of a non bi-color unit.

Sometimes a Full CTO is way too much for what I need, this 1/2 CTO works perfect for most of my shoots using 5600k LED lights

I like to have these just in case I need to warm up my Godox VL150. I cut a strip that i can fold in half and put in my aputure light dome ii filter holder.

You may calculate your actual shipping options/order totals by adding the items you want to a shopping cart. It will then list the shipping options, descriptions, ETA's and fees to your location.

question

Is it uv protected? ie will it fade if left outdoors or exposed to sunlight?
Asked by: Anonymous
I do not use Roscoe Gel out of doors. Unfortunately, I'm unable to confirm or deny that prolonged exposure to sunlight will or will not fade the gel.

question

Moved into house with led utility lights facing up behind cornice. Could this be cut and laid directly on led bulbs?
Asked by: Karen O.
I think that would be fine, I use these on SB-900 strobes with the thermal safeties deactivated and I've never had an issue with melting a gel even when the speed lights get pretty toasty.

question

Are these flexible? I'm looking for CTO filters to put over my Monolights (Xplor 600).
Asked by: Daniel
Thats exactly what I plan on doing with them. Do a search online for the commercially available AD600 gels shaped like a large +. You can easily cut these sheets into that shape and use high temp silicone bands from the cooking section of any grocery store to attach them... and save a ton of $ in the process.
