Rosco RS344111 reviews

Cinegel #3441 Full Straw CTS Filter (20 x 24" Sheet) is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 26.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from plays well with plus green Trying to match flash output to warm CFLs is a pain, needing a combination of warming and plus green gels. I didn't like the results I was getting with CTOs: skin tones were too orange and trying to correct for that caused other problems. CTS passes more green than CTO, making for less orange skin tones and more effective compensation for the fluorescent green spike.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from #3441 filter, 20 x 24, roscoe I use the filter to soften the flash on my camera, and to warm my auxilliary flash. It creates pleasing skin tones. I would recommend as a simple fix for the harsh light caused by most on camera flashes.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works great Brings my camera flash down to 3,300K color temp. So either my flash isn't at 5,500K temp (maybe higher) or the spec is wrong, but to do dim tungsten lighting (2,700K-ish) it's not warm enough.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from First time using filters on studio light I seem to remember The Strobist saying he preferred Full Straw over CTO. I bought this and cut pieces to fit two Einstein lights shot into bounce umbrellas hoping to match the inside of a church. Set the camera WB to Incandescent, turned on all the lights in the sanctuary, and shot away. I'm very satisfied and have enough film remaining to replace those pieces should I ever need to.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Like CTO - less magenta When correcting a flash to tungsten, I typically use CTO filters, but I love the Rosco straw filters for warm sunlight effects. CTO in all its intensities looks a little too red/magenta for warm sunlight and produces pinkish skin tones. This and the 1/2 straw are always in my location lighting kit.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Rosco Quality I honestly haven't used this item as of yet, but I have other similar products by Rosco and it matches them in terms of quality. I use this with small flash and studio strobes for color correction. No complaints about this item at all.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quality Item is a great tool to balance tungsten light. I bought this item not expecting it to be as big as it is. Its a huge sheet, and will last me a long time, if not indefinitley. Quality product, great price. Well worth the money!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Color balance you flash gun By adding a piece over your flash gun, you can easily match the tungsten light color and avoid blue shade on your photo. when you use your flash as a fill light under tungsten lightning it is something that you need...
