Rated 4 out of 5 by from Another great use of silicone The RODE silicone replacement bands do a great job against shock resistance. They're very durable and in fact I still use the original pair that came with my boom. I ordered backups in case one breaks or flies off into the night while we're shooting. However, I haven't had to use the replacements yet so they're well worth the money. Always get a backup set just in case. You never want to be on a shoot and wish you had another silicone band. Hair bands just don't do as good of a job. Grunge bands are better.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great replacement bands Since bands of all types wear out over time, having spares on hand is a necessity. As these bands age they will break, and replacing them quickly is very important. The entire purpose of the Rode Shock Mount is to provide a buffer between the mic and the camera to help eliminate noise from the camera being picked up by the mic. So keep spare bands on hand.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from They Work! These replacement bands work just as the originals do. Although they're not cheap, they're cheaper than the prices I came across on * and * and I know B & H doesn't sell cheap Chinese knock-off stuff so I knew the quality would be there. I replaced the one band that had snapped and now have a few new bands waiting for when the other old bands dry and break.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A PERFECT FIT! I picked up 4 sets of these, they fit my Rode shock mounts perfectly and were a much tighter grip on my Sennheiser MKH 416 shotgun mics then the originals. It's cheep insurance to replace these before that $1000 mic takes a crash to the pavement and then needs a $300 replacement element. Unfortunately I learned this the hard way!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from pricey but adequate Replacement rubber bands for a shockmount. The kind of thing that ought to be included as well considering the high cost of an all-plastic mic mount. The plastic bag they ship in costs about as much as they did to produce. They work, but then -- why wouldn't they?

Rated 4 out of 5 by from On the money Exactly what I needed. These bands tend to wear out and get lost, so I was happy to find the exact replacement bands I needed.
