I also use these for cleaning some of my lenses, and it works well for those crevices at the perimeter of the lens elements. It cleans well in combination with the expensive Visible Dust solutions. I will definitely be getting more of these.
These were handy for the sensor edge and for persistent dust spots prior to cleaning the whole sensor with a full size swab. Very expensive for what they are though and wouldnt bother to replace them when they are used up.
they are roundish and so the contact surface is not ideal
