    Rated 5 out of 5 by from Necessary for fiber analysis Produces good, measureable views of hair (human and animal wool) exterior and medulla. 200x is not quite enough for reasonable measurements of many animal hairs or for fine human hairs. With the ProScope mounted on a stand or tripod, it is possible to hand-hold the sample steadily enough if you are careful, especially if you use both hands. Field of view is naturally very small, so you also need lower-power lenses to explore a sample. Finding a particular spot at 400x can be tricky.
