Canon CTC-100 reviews

CTC-100 Component Video 3 RCA Male to Single Proprietary Connection is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 10.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great HD Video Cable! Over-priced though I'm using this cable to connect my Canon Vixia HF-R20 Camcorder to a Epson LCD Projector and and a Toshiba Cinema Series HD TV. Both are x.v.Color compatible. It sends a very bright and crisp picture to my monitors. I could not really see a difference between the HDMI and the Component connection. It's way overpriced! It's $ on Canon's website, I got it for around$ with S&H from B&H which is still way over-priced. Proprietary connection should be out-lawed. A standard component cable cost about $8. Why do they always have to make things so complicated.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Length not specified? I couldn't find the length specified anywhere. I was pleasantly surprised though, it's approximately 3 meters long!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice cable I bought three of these for our media streaming kits and I was happy with the quality of these cables. The insulation around the cable is a thick rubber jacket and, though flexible, they feel sturdy. They also produce a nice component video image and maintain my HD signal, which is the reason I purchased them in the first place. And, lastly, they have a nice length to them so you're not restricted with having to keep individual components close together.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works as Advertised My auction purchased camcorder didn't come with one. This cable works great to see my HDV footage in all it's HD glory on my Computer monitor with YUV component inputs.
