Epson T5808 reviews

UltraChrome K3 Matte Black Ink Cartridge (80 ml) is rated 4.9 out of 5 by 62.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Richer Blacks I use the Epson UltraCrhome K3 Matte Black Ink Cartridge in my Epson 3880. The richest looking prints are printed on matte paper and this ink excels in that task. Any artist will tell you the proof of a great painting or sketch is the value you give to the various shades of gray that extend between pure whites and blacks creating depth and shape. UltraChrome K3 Matte Black is just the ink that I need to insure those varying tones of contrast. The shadows rendered by this ink make the composition jump off of the paper. Without it all of the other colors would look dull and flat. I'm extremely happy with this product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Ink Color reproduction from this ink is wonderful and B&W prints come out amazing. Only ink I use for my 3800 printer. It is a little bit pricy but well worth the money if you are looking for quality.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from For Top Quality Artistic Prints I use an Epson Pro Stylus 3800 with Ultrachrome K3 pigment-based inks. The inks are perfect with Epson papers. These are not glossy, highly saturated, rapid drying, non-clogging and archival.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from AGAIN, FLAWLESS PERFORMANCE - EPSON INK I have been using Epson printers for decades very happily. They are the best for high-quality printing of photography and graphic design. This ink is fabulous though costly. However, B + H sells this ink always less expensively than anywhere else, even when it is on sale somewhere else! Always use Epson ink with Epson printers for best results. I will continue to use Epson products exclusively for printing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Product! Excellent ink that is very reliable to make dynamic prints. Example: An aquaintance of mine asked if he could have my matte black ink cartridge to finish a deadline and that he would replace it as soon as possible. He replaced it with a cartridge that was inferior in quality and it clogged my printer. The good news is that I bought this ink and after one cleaning my printer could print matte again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Only use the best. Don't go cheap, it will cost you. Want to keep your printer working use the ink that is made for it. I have an Epson printer and only use Epson ink, I know several people who try other inks to keep the cost down and then have all kinds of trouble with the ink heads and end up spending a lot more. I like Epson but if you have a Canon printer use Canon ink, if Epson use Epson ink. It's that easy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A wonderful product When I bought my Epson printer (Pro 3880), I thought I would mostly be printing on luster paper, which requires photo black ink. How wrong I was, as I find Epson's matte black ink to work wonderfully with Epson's Signature Worthy matte papers, especially the cold press bright. Now, printing on matte paper is the rule and not the exception.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from It's ink! It works, plain and simple. No mess, no weird colors... it just works. Whether printing high quality photos on cotton rag/matte photo paper or just printing an invoice on plain paper, the matte black gives much richer blacks. The price is pretty good, but would always like it cheaper.
