Mounting Adhesive Roll - 11"x50' is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 20.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Used Many Rolls I've used many rolls of Scotch 3M #568 over the past years to mount photos to foam core board for the purpose of photo club judging and subsequent display. It is slightly more sticky in warm humid summer. It is a little more position-able (peel off and re position) in cold (50 degree) conditions. Just don't press hard until you are sure of the position. If the adhesive does not transfer from the carrier paper to the photo, use the squeegee again to make the adhesion - but go slow and press hard. Masking tape can be used to remove stray adhesive at the edges of prints.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works well Definitely easier to work with than spray or heat-sensitive adhesive paper. Follow the instructions that come with the product to avoid aggravation. You will need a utility knife to cut the adhesive around your picture. You might also need to keep the adhesive paper from curling up during mounting; whatever you use to weigh it down, you will need to use something like wax paper to keep it from sticking to the adhesive. Great product that pays for itself quickly if you consider what framing shops charge to mount large pictures...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Product does what it says I was able to use the mounting adhesive with no waste mounting 8 X 10 photos. It allows repositioning on mounting board and creates a bubble free permamnet bond once pressure is applied. Residue can be removed with alcohol and a Q tip.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Only Way to Go Very easy with digital photos. Two warnings: use a sharp knife, keep control of the adhesive, it can get on your metal straight-edge, and then travels - fingers, mounting-board, the print. Clean-up with 91% isopropyl alcohol. Got my mounting supplies at Home Depot, a building-supply store. I purchased a folding knife that uses standard utility blades. Swap blades in seconds without tools. Cutting board is 2' X 2' insulation, from lumber department. Straight-edge from tool department. The trick to keep the adhesive away from your straight-edge? Cover everything with aluminium-foil before you cut, then there is no clean-up. Been using Scotch Adhesive Roll for over a decade, have yet to lose a print.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Mounting Adhesive I use this product to mount photographic prints (8X10-13X19) for Camera Club and photo exhibits. This works much better than spray and tape. The specifications say: pressure sensitive that allows the item being mounted to be positioned and repositioned until correctly aligned. I question its ability to be repositioned! Make sure you place the print where you want it, or you probably will not be able to move it. Also, do not get any of the adhesive on the surface of the print!! This is an excellent product and works as advertised.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Been using it for 32 years! I mount my fotos with it and they never delaminate. You have to be careful when using it so that you don't get little pieces of the adhesive where you don't want it (like on the foto). Cotton gloves and an Xacto knife are useful when working with your fotos and the product. A clean thin cloth cotton comes in handy too. Being neat and clean helps a lot.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I Like It I have very little experience in mounting prints, and I was able to do a pretty good job the first time I used this. It does stick to your fingers a little bit, but if you're careful, and perhaps have a better technique, it can be minimized. This is one product for which you really need to follow the instructions.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic Product I used the product to mount photographs for exhibition. It worked very well for adhering prints to backer board, especially for poster-sized images. Once aplied, it's as if you've sprayed adhesive but without the mess and fumes. An elegantly simple and effective product with many applications besides photography.
