Rated 2 out of 5 by from Mounting Adhesive Roll - 16x50' by Scot This adhesive is impractical and frustrating... It needs to be smoothed 3 times to stick properly and to smooth out bubbling. When attached photos are cut with a paper cutter, the adhesive bleeds from the edge so handling is tricky. If any of this rubber cement type product sticks to your hands then it's easy for it to adhere to the front of the photo. I had to discard several photos because of this. I wiped my hands frequently too. I finally discovered that allowed to rest overnight before cutting, handling the adhered photos was a neater experience, but I wouldn't buy this again. I have since found a similar but better product by Neschen Documents, which I purchased online from a framing supplies company.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great product I have used this to mount my ink jet prints ,after creating a procedure using a straight edge to insure proper alignment for 16x 20 prints to 16x20 gator board I have found this product to be the best way to go and no longer use a hot press just make sure the surface of the mounting board is free of any particles otherwise there will be dimples Prints I have mounted over the past few years are still in good shape ,none lifting of the mount yes you need to be careful not to get any adhesive on your image

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not the easiest mounting adhesive Fitting and adhering the adhesive to the art is easy. The part I found hard was peeling the backing off the adhesive that is now attached to the art. Sections of the adhesive want to remain on the backing and it takes additional effort to keep it in place. Once the backing is fully removed, it is easy to secure the art to your mounting board. The other thing you need to be careful of is not to get adhesive on the image side of your art. When you cut the adhesive to size, it is easy to be sloppy and if you get it on the image side, might as well throw it away and start again. I have found it difficult to find pressure sensitive adhesive for inkjet prints and the Scotch Mounting Adhesive Rolls are affordable and readily available

Rated 4 out of 5 by from sticky but that's what you want I had read many reviews of this product. Some of which made me leery of using it. However, since I needed to mount some photos to 16x20 mats and did not have ready access to a hot mounting press that was that large I gave it a try. This material works. True, it is easy to get the sticky stuff on your hands and carry over to your photo or whatever you are mounting Really, not a big problem so long as you are careful. The key really is to be patient in using this adhesive. Cut carefully, take great care to make sure it is pressed on each of things to be adhered. It is especially important to peel the backing of slowly- and to use the nonstick paper provided as much as possible whenever there is a chance that it will be necessary to move the object to be mounted.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from No heat dry mounting I make large prints, and corner mounts ultimately result in a wavy surface. I have used this adhesive for ten years without a failure. Difficulty is moderate. Repositioning is possible with very light contact. Once you have learned how to start a corner position and move outward, the process consistent.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great solution for mounting pictures! Got advised to use this instead of mounting spray, and am so happy I followed this advice! It a very easy and clean alternative with stunning results! Did my first mounting very cautiously, my it turned out to be easy enough even for a beginner. Also, it was helpful to read previous comments, I knew what to expect. Regarding glue on your fingers - just rub it off, just like that. Come off easy when you rub your fingers against each other, otherwise it's super sticky and dangerous (for your prints).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent product ! I have been using this product to mount my images for quite some time ,in fact I sold my mounting press that I used to use to mount my prints long ago. I have from experience of using this product a procedure that is simple to insure proper alignment on the board I use (16x20 Gator Board ) I print from my Epson 3800 16x20 images on 17x22 paper . Tack down the one edge of the mounting adhesive roll out along a straight edge ,cut off the top excess paper on the print and lay the print on the adhesive using the straight edge at the top leave the excess on the other three edges to be trimmed off after the adhesive is adhered to the back of the print ,then align it to the mounting board . Have done this so many times in this manner with out any problems . Have never had a print come loose over the years which was a problem with a heat press !!! Make sure there is no dust or small particles on the mounting board as it will dimple the image Always measure the mounting board as even though it should be exactly in my case 16 x20 it can vary from one order to another minutely !
