The RDL RU-SQ6A is a 1/3 rack space sequencing controller ideal for any application that requires control of sequential power-up or events. The unit has six sequential steps, each with two types of outputs. The first is an open collector capable of switching loads of 50mA, while the other is an SPST dry contact closure that can be used to control a variety of equipment. An internal microcontroller ensures accurate timing, which can be adjusted to intervals from one to ten seconds via a front-panel timing control knob.
The up or down sequence is user-controlled either by front-panel pushbuttons or via a remote connected to the rear panel. Front-panel LEDs indicate which of the six channels is currently activated, as well as whether front-panel or remote control is selected, when an "up" request is received, and when the sequence is complete. All connections are made via rear-panel screw terminals.
