The SeaLife Lens Dock is used to store the SeaLife wide-angle conversion lens when diving. The lens could be attached or detached to the camera underwater. For instant access the lens quickly slides in and out of the dock. The dock attaches to the bottom of all SeaLife cameras or strobes.

I am using this Lens Dock with DC800 Pro Kit Underwater Digital Camera (Sealife). Very Durable, very easy to be mounted, very secure in holding lenses.

Can this wide angle lens dock be used when the housing is not mounted on a Sealife tray?

The SeaLife Lens Dock for the SeaLife Wide-Angle Conversion Lens does have a standard 1/4"-20 stud. So it could be attached directly to a camera or housing that has a standard 1/4"-20 socket. Keep in mind this dock is ONLY compatible with the discontinued SeaLife SL970 0.65x Wide Angle Lens. The SeaLife Lens Caddy SL090 is compatible with all lenses for the Sealife DC series cameras.
