The B+W Push-On Lens Cap #300 model is their 'standard' unit, and has a slightly convex front surface to prevent the inside of the cap from touching the glass of your lens when it is tucked away in a bag. The sides are their 'standard' depth, to fit on normal lens barrels or standard-style filters, and this particular unit has a 60mm inner diameter.
B+W also makes a 'shallow' sides model, the #305 model, to fit on slim filters, and a more common snap-on cap.
It isn't an exact science due to all the variables involved, but generally a push-on cap that is 2-3mm larger than the lens' filter size fits just right.
While it will not be as secure as the original B60 lens cap as it does not bayonet connect to the lens, yes, you should be able to use the B+W #300 60mm Push-On Lens Cap, B&H # BWLC60, on your lens.

Will this work on a Screw-In Metal Lens Hood #950 ...
Will this work on a Screw-In Metal Lens Hood #950 by the same manufacturer?
Asked by: Diego
Sorry, no. This is 60mm and the outer diameter of the hood is about 70mm. We suggest removing the hood and placing on the lens a lens cap such as this. Sensei 49mm Center Pinch Snap-On Lens Cap B&H # SELC49

I bought this for my Pentax DA10-17. I believe the Pentax is the same design as the Tokina, and the lens cap fits perfectly.
