Leupold's Alumina VX-L Flip-Back Lens Cover Set allows you to keep your VX-L riflescope's standard eyepiece and 50mm objective lenses protected from dirt, rain, and other common trail hazards with internal springs that allow each cover to be quickly flipped out of the way when you need to use the scope. Made of lightweight and durable 6061-T6 aluminum with a matte-black anodized finish, the covers feature neodymium magnets to hold them closed and a triple O-ring seal to provide maximum protection from dirt, dust, and weather. Made specifically for 50mm-objective VX-L model riflescopes produced after 2003, the objective lens cover matches the signature contour the series is known for to maintain its low-profile mounting.

Alumina VX-L Flip-Back Lens Cover Set (50mm) is rated 3.0 out of 5 by 5.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Difficult to install It took an hour's worth of fiddling and help of two friends to try to properly seat the objective end lens cover on my scope. It's still not perfectly seated but it doesn't fall off when I shoot it...I'm not impressed with the system that Leupold uses to attach it. Magnet that holds in closed is also relatively weak so it pops open sometimes while carrying it in sling over my shoulder. Unfortunately, there are no other alternative covers for this scope so I'm stuck with itl.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Absolute must have for Leupold scopes! protection from the elements for the finest glass around. Easy to install design, effective and reliable these lens covers are a must have for your leupold long gun optics. Simple design using a magnetic lock to seal and finger touch release to open. Threaded seat and pressure pins do a great job of marrying them to your scope. Rugged yet deceptively beautiful! They put the finishing touch to the practicality and overall look of an already outstanding piece of equipment. Your long range rig is not complete until you have your glasses covered!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Leupold Alumina Scope Covers These covers work great and were easy to install on my scope. The front cover fits very sucure into factory grooves on the scope. After installing I hunted all weekend in a rainstorm and the covers worked perfectly. My only complaint is that the magnetic closure on the front cover seems a little weak, it brushed on my pack and flipped open once letting a little rain on the lens.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Solid material, but won't stay shut! This cover uses magnet to remain closed. It is very difficult to get the cover on; and once you do, the magnet doesn't provide enough "energy" to keep it closed. Keeps popping open

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good product, maybe a liitle pricey. Does an excellent job of protecting and keep the elements off of you scope lenses. If are used to shooting with a lens cover on these are not for you.
