question

Is this lens compatible with the Nikon D7200 ?
Asked by: Rosa H.
Yes, you can use this lens on the D7200. Although this lens is FX format, which is full frame, and the D7200 is DX format, which has a sensor that is 1.5x smaller, it can still be mounted and used. Your field of view will change by 1.5, so an FX format 70-200mm lens on the DX format camera will have the same field of view as a 105-300mm lens on an FX camera.

question

Is this considered an off market lens?
Asked by: Anonymous
No, I checked this out carefully. It is a very good lens, just not the newest. It is priced lower than the newest model 70-200. Have used it quite a lot and would get it again in a heartbeat.

E-mail Nikon all the info you have both on the box and lens and they will be glad to tell you where it was made etc.
