Audix DP7 Reviews
Drum mics
I got the best service for a great set of well pack quality mics.i would buy over and over from B&H because of their professional service and support.
Best affortable professional drum mics ever!
I've never had or heard drum mics that are so good as Audix DP7. D6 is THE best kick drum mic, hands down. D4 surprisingly awesome for the floor drum. i5 exceeds my expectations, already considering to buy more for the bottem snare and guitar amp mics. ADX51 is also good for different use: OH, choir & interviews... Audix DP7 does not disappoint on many levels.
Very good set for the money
We bought this set of mics to replace an eclectic set of mics that included some SM57s, the se604 tom mics along with a Shure Beta mic on the kick. We are very pleased with the results. Very dynamic pickup and great frequency response on these mics.
No regrets
These are some of the finest drum mics we have ever used. You wont regret buying them.
The best purchase for the price.
The best purchase for the price. You have a decent and clean sound.
So far, incredible
I've only had this kit for about 2 weeks but so far I am in love. They're my first set of drum mics and I did a good amount of research. Without processing they sound amazing. Especially the tom mics. The overheads are pretty hot but positioning them has made a big difference. So far I'm very very pleased. The clamps are, as others said, a little finicky and sometimes difficult to position. I have an 8 DW tom and because of the DW mount, I can't place the clamp where I want it to be so instead I use a mic stand.
I'm satisfied
The bass drum mic is excellent, overhead very good for symbols and hihat
