ZEISS' 8x32 Victory T* FL Binocular is the epitome of optical excellence.  From any measurement of greatness it succeeds admirably, a tool bereft of weakness which becomes so intuitive with use as to functionally disappear from the user's mindset.  This should be the goal of any binocular-to be the invisible conduit to great viewing of the subject.  The 8x32 has taken over a large share of the market choice at the top because it is so good at so many things:  bright but still relatively compact, incredibly wide in its apparent viewing field and also able to focus upon close subjects.

The optics of the 8x32 Victory T* FL were created with elements of abnormal partial dispersion, a chunk of gobbledygook easily translating to the observer as the theoretical limit of razor sharp imagery free of color shift or chromatic aberration, the dreaded bane of bargain binoculars.  When focusing upon a flat subject, the image is as sharp at the edges of the enormous viewing field as it is at the center.  The broad focusing range goes from end to end in just a single rotation of the center focus dial, which also houses the dioptric correction.

The 8x32 Victory T* FL, like all ultra-premium European crafted binoculars, is not for the frugally minded.  It is instead a product intentionally designed to deliver awe-inspiring optical and mechanical brilliance, and for many the lifetime of expected performance from such a device quickly amortizes its high initial investment.

Lightweight, durable fiber-reinforced polymer body
Abbe-Koenig roof prisms
Twist-lock eyecups with 4 detented stops for perfect eye placement
Closest focusing capacity and longest eye relief of all premium 8x32 binoculars
±4 Dioptric correction
52-74mm Interpupillary adjustment range
Exclusive ZEISS LotuTec Lens Coating
Borrowing a natural principle from the lotus flower, ZEISS' LotuTec has been incorporated in ZEISS eyeglass lenses and is now upon the Victory T* FL line. Dirt, grease & water cannot easily attach to the lens, permitting less dirt buildup over time and simplified cleaning.
Warranty Coverage That Retains Value
ZEISS' Lifetime Transferrable Warranty protects the value of your investment like no other company.  As long as the binocular was sold by an authorized USA ZEISS dealer they are under warranty for whoever owns them, and this makes the unfortunate prospect of parting with your 8x32 Victory T* FL a less painful experience.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Shockingly good indeed It's amazing what a top end bino has to offer in optics. The view in these are simply astounding. Clear, crisp, great contrast, no false color, no field distortion, great color fidelity, and amazing field of view and great comfort for eye glass wearers. They are also light weight and great for field work. I have trouble holding heavy things with my shaky hands and this pair are just perfect. I am an advanced amateur astronomer and own over 15 high end telescopes and binos and these are close to perfect in my opinion.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Happy Birder As an avid birder and photographer, I am always aware of the need for my optics to gather the maximum light for accurate viewing of the subject. The Zeiss Victory series 8x32 binoculars fill this requirement for me, as no other binoculars I have ever owned. Although the Swarovski 8X32 El binoculars are a favourite with many birders, the Zeiss are equal and at a lower price, with an excellent warranty. All my friends who look through these binoculars express dismay. Because they dont own a pair!! I am very happy with my purchase. Ione Clapham Unsworth

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Priceless... for Birding/Photography I am a traveler and outdoors man in every sense of the word. And, regardless of what else I take along, binoculars were always on the short list. All three pairs I previously used (different sizes and magnification: 7X,8X,12X) were in the upper middle price range and fulfilled their tasks. Roughly a year ago, as a serious amateur nature photographer using top of the line Canon lenses, I felt a need to upgrade my binos to the best light-gathering optics I could afford for all types of nature situations.Having previously checked out these Zeiss 8x32 Victory T* FL binos at outdoor shows and stores, I knew this was my preferred choice. It was the ABSOLUTELY right decision. Clarity to the edges, brightness in all situations, soft armoured feel, quick focus, and quick capture of the subject has me seeing more of the outdoors on the spot! The eye cup and diopter adjustments are easy to manipulate as well. Finally, let me say that the size and weight are PERFECT for anyone interested in serious outdoor activities (birding, backpacking/hiking, bicycling, hunting, kayaking, sports, photogrpahy, etc.) where space and/or weight are part of the equation.
