    Rated 2 out of 5 by from Does NOT work with new AB batteries The description of this charger states that it works with all chemistry types of all batteries in the popular 3-pin A/B mount type... HOWEVER, the new A/B batteries that have the Interactive Digital technology WILL NOT work in this charger. Tested with a brand new Hytron-100 and it doesn't work. Hytron-100 manual states that it can only be charged with a charger that supports the Interactive Digital tech.

    Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works as advertised I use this to power my JVC HD200UB and to charge a couple of anton/bauer TrimPac batteries. It is a spare charger that I am using while I wait for anton/bauer to repair the charger/power supply that came with the camera. I was confused at first by this charger. It says SWIT on the back rather than VariZoom but VariZoom says the Swit company builds some of their products. Also confusing was the marking on the back. It looked like there were LEDs for 0%, 80%, and 100% charge but that's just a picture to indicate what color the charge LED will be while it is charging. However, it will not show the orange 80% color for TrimPac batteries. The indicator stays red until the battery is fully charged then it turns green. I took the camera and a charged battery to a World Festival last weekend and I got approximately one hour of battery time which is what I get when I use the anton/bauer charger. It is a bit bulkier than the anton/bauer charger but so far I'm satisfied with the way this works.
