Museo Portfolio Rag paper has an extremely smooth cotton base (featuring advanced coatings) that is designed for the ultimate museum or gallery exhibit quality prints. The paper is pH neutral and free of acid and brightener, which provides additional archival life to a fine art inkjet or pigment ink print.

Portfolio Rag paper is designed to withstand the ravages of time and handling as it incorporates a flake-free coating optimized for pigment inks and is internally buffered as well. This paper has a heavy weight and distinctive hand that only serves to enhance the strengths of an image printed upon it while not distracting viewers with gimmicks like texture; it is simply one of the cleanest, most crisp papers surfaces to present an image on.

Portfolio Rag Fine Art Paper - 17x22" - 25 Sheets is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 7.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from ...helps you go from rag to riches! I've tried several papers and find this to be the best bright white rag paper for archival fine art inkjet prints in all sizes. The thickness of this paper lends to the necessary rigidity of large images making for great looking floating images in a shadow-box frame! Also, if you enjoy deckled edges, the fibers of this wonderful paper display a rich texture. This paper adds value to every image in terms of weight, appearance, presentation quality and longevity. This paper took away all my worries about my largest image so far at 110 inches long. It looks magnificent! The only drawback is that it is so well packaged, it may take you a few minutes to get your hands on it once you receive your order.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Two thumbs up I've tested a lot of inkjet papers lately and none of them have held up to the abuse and handling by twenty portfolio reviewers like Museo Portfolio Rag. I love the warm smooth surface as I don't want the paper's texture to detract from my photographs. The medium thickness (300 gsm) reminds me of some doubleweight silver gelatin papers that I've used in the past when I had a wet darkroom. Plus, there's no surface flaking. And dust doesn't get caught on the surface like some textured papers. My only gripe is that it only comes in 8-1/2 x 11, 13 x 19, and 17 x 22. I'd like to see it in 11 x 17 size because I print my work as 10 x 10 inch images. Other than that, this is the paper that I intend to use for some time to come for my black and white fine art prints.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from An Excellent Product I use the Museo Portfolio Rag for color prints on an Epson 4800 Matte Printer. I have had outstanding results with this combination. I will continue to use this paper for years to come.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Paper Until recently my two favorite matte rag papers were Hahnemulhe Photo Rag and Moab Entrada Fine Art Natural. I learned about this paper in the australian site ImageScience, I give it a try and I'm sold to it. Fine art prints are gorgeous with this paper, B&W or color, doesn't matter.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Inkjet Paper This paper needs photo matte ink to make the best quality print. It has a great tonal range and beautiful surface. The 17 x 22 has a great weight to it. Easy to print with using the paper profile. I have used this paper to make black and white prints that are rich and full toned.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Beware of damage before you use it I purchased this paper based on my personal use of Museo in the past. The paper itself has a lovely silky texture on the surface and renders blacks beautifully. However, the box I received had a consistent flaw on every single sheet in the box, which I only noticed on printing on almost every sheet. About 2 inches from the top on the longest size was an indent in the paper, the full length, of about 2-3mm wide. The flaw was visible under fluro light and I made 8-10 snaps of the flaw and sent it to B&H. I also requested a full refund and was advised that I would have to return the whole box of prints. As a fine art photographer I would never provide prints of a full series of work to anyone except the gallery that represents my work. I pointed this out to B&H and was told in writing that I would be offered only a 25% refund if I didn't send back the full box. This was negotiated to 50% in the end. It is deplorable that despite my providing evidence of the flaw which is present on every single page, the only way to receive a refund was to send original artworks to B&H. I won't be buying this paper again and where possible will shop from other suppliers.
