worked great for me

I used the swab as directed and it worked great. My screen was so dirty it took several swabs but it's clean now! I did find out that one forward and one reverse pass is all I could do with each swab. Pricey but a lot cheaper than sending my camera out to get it cleaned! And of course you have to purchase the visible dust solution separately (which is also expensive...but together, they get the job done and done well!

Not for a Nikon D7000

There's nothing inherently wrong with the swabs as they are... But the angled edge is completely useless for a Nikon D7000. You need a flat-ended swab for that sensor, because it's so deep into the camera body. With much fussing, I did manage to clean mine with these, but they're so inconvenient - I'd go with something else next time.

Excellent swabs!

I found these swabs work perfectly on my DSLR and they also helped me clean out some old AE-1 Program cameras, Brownie cameras and my EOS 1V to name a few. Slightly pricey but they do what they say they do!

Finally I can see through my viewfinder. All that junk that was on my focusing screen is gone. Only 4 stars because these swabs, like other Visible Dust products, are somewhat pricey. But they work.

Damaged focusing screen

Used on a Canon 60d. I followed directions exactly. Very light pressure to my focusing screen and swipe in one direction using Visible Dust Sensor Cleaner along with it to remove dust. All it did was continue to add more dust until I went through half of the box and eventually ended up with a scratched focusing screen. I'm out about $50 plus the cost of a new screen since B&H won't refund the money for an open package and they don't care what it did to my camera. How am I supposed to know if the product works without opening the package. I will never buy anything from Visible Dust again. Send your camera to Canon for a cleaning, they had great customer service. I'm really glad I didn't try to clean my actual sensor first.

if you've ever cleaned your sensor you know how hard it can be. these made it a lot easier. can get expensive though, but for what I paid for my camera it's worth throwing a couple dollars at it each time to keep it pristine.
