    Sennheiser PC-131 reviews

PC-131 - Over-the-Head Binaural Headset for Computer Gaming and VoIP is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 8.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Crisp and clear - Perfect for my use! I bought this headset as my Son accepted an 18 month contract in his career field. The downside is our drive home conversations on his way home from work almost daily would cease to exist. The cost of just calling him on my cellphone is something I didn't even want to look at. I asked him what we could do and he suggested the Google chat which would be free. All I would need is to get some headsets with a microphone - I passed on the web cam. We've had 3 conversations of over a half hour thus far and we are both extremely satisfied in both my hearing and he with the reception from my mike. And all calls were at no cost! I would definitely recommend this product to anyone looking for something to use on their computer!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Well designed and made but ... Had hoped to use this for quick and dirty voice-over and narration. For$you can't expect a broadcast quality headset, so maybe I had my expectations too high, but I was disapointed by the sound quality of the microphone. I'm sure it sounds no worse than other headsets in the same price range. I have returned the headset and will probably get a USB large diaphram condenser mic from Shure, AKG, AT or MXL.This headset will work fine with speech recognition and Skype, and I suppose gaming, but doesn't sound good enough for narration or voice-over duty.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Sound and Comfortable Headset I love to sing karaoke (didn't say I was any good though) and this headset is the only one I've found so far that works with the program I use, has excellent sound, records great and is comfortable for extended wear. It's lightweight and the mic adjusts just where I want it. Haven't tried it with any VOIP programs but I am confident it would do well there as well!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Simplifies video editing Not satisfied with video direct from my camcorder, I edit it with Pinacle Studio, adding sound tracks and voice over. My standard PC microphone always seemed inadaquate. This headset/microphone combo does a much better job on voiceover. I am looking forward to using it with my JVC camcorder on my next trip, attempting to reduce wind noise and enhance the voice narration, maybe I can reduce sound editing on the video.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice sound Ordered one this to test its performance. Although sound quality is good in the earphones and mic, the isolation is only adequate. Ended up returning these and ordered the PC-151. Note that the connector isn't USB, although an adaptor could be purchased for this purpose.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good For Price Not the most comfortable fit. Have to move them around head to seat on ears in a decent way. Good sound quality for price. Fell fragile, but are probably just because of being lightweight.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid VOIP headset Because this headset isn't USB you can be sure it will work with your legacy equipment. Sound quality is better than average. Built very well. I like the rubber mic boom
