TM300 - Tube Amp Modeling Effects Pedal is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from The David To Everyone Else's Goliath For $ shipped, this is the most obscenely great pedal deal on Planet Earth. I'm looking to buy a few more. I use this TM300 with older Fender Reverb amplifiers (pre 1971) set for cleans. I've been a guitar player since 1968, and cover anything from country to shred. The touch sensitivity is amazing, and there are so many great combinations of settings that I would love to have a pedal selector that would select from at least 3 or 4 of these. I've since gotten rid of my Earthquaker Devices Palisades Overdrive, as well as my Tech 21 US Metal pedal. I have at least ten other dirt boxes that will be leaving as well. At lower gain levels, this pedal plays very well with a Tube Screamer, although the TS isn't really necessary anymore. I especially like both the low gain and high gain setting, although the mid gain setting is useful as well. Behringer really doesn't get the street cred they deserve, so this TM300 remains an incredible little secret. Supposedly this pedal is a copy of the original SansAmp, but I don't ever remember playing a SansAmp that even remotely blew me away like this pedal does. This guy is the David to everybody else's Goliath. When the TM300 makes you not even want to play another pedal that retails for up to ten times the price of the TM300, then you know you have something. Rest assured, if you are unable to get a great sound out of the TM300, it's you, not the pedal. Just a killer useful pedal that is a mind-boggling value.
