Manfrotto MDeVe Series Tripod Legs Overview

Supporting up to 26.5 lb, the Manfrotto 755XB MDeVe Aluminum Video Tripod is an extremely versatile two-stage aluminum tripod that was designed specifically for run-and-gun videographers using Mini-DV or DVCAM camcorders where rapid, reliable setup and breakdown is paramount.

The 755XB has been redesigned to offer better ergonomics of the leg-angle release mechanism, and improved quick action leg locks. Flip lever leg locks clamp down tightly in one motion, yet are adjustable for wear over time. The built-in 50mm leveling ball provides rapid column leveling on uneven terrain, and leg tubes are grooved and keyed for torsional stability during setup and use.

How do I lock the ball to stop it from rotating? I'm able to lock my tripod head (500AH Fluid head), but the ball causes the position to slowly change and camera to move out of position. The only locks I can see are on my tripod head. Thanks.
Asked by: Meghan
At the very end of the center column is the locking mechanism. Twist to loosen or lock the leveling base.

One leg has come loose. What tool is needed to tighten the clamp?
Asked by: Dipanka
Manfrotto tripods come with a ring-clamp wrench for tightening the leg bolts and it's usually attached to the leg. If you look at the top half of the center leg in this image (https://bit.ly/3bQYWek), you'll see it. If you've lost yours, according to Manfrotto, this is the replacement: https://bhpho.to/3inC1IZ

Is it possible to use this with a MVH502AH fluid head in a horizontal configuration? (for product videography)
Asked by: Anonymous
You can use the MVH502AH on the 755XB tripod if you add the following accessory. Be sure to add a sand bag weight on the other end of the arm so the set-up does not fall over. Manfrotto 131D Lateral Side Arm for Tripods (Black) B&H # MA131DB
