How well does the 4X fit on the Sony 600mm f4? The actual measurement of the lens hood is at the small end of the 4X size range. Is the Hoodie too big to fit well?
I use this on the end of the lens hood for the Sony 400mm f/2.8. It’s too large for the lens without the hood though. Hope this helps.

Yes the LensCoat Hoodie Lens Hood Cover (4X-Large) is the correct Hoodie for the Canon 600mm f4 Mark 3 lens. You do not need to use the Lens Coat for the rest of the lens. The hood alone will fit fine.
