Explorer V Tripod with 3-Way Head is rated 4.1 out of 5 by 52.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great for the Price Tripods are always a tricky buy. I'm not sure about most of you but I tend to wear mine out very very quickly. With most tripods the strength-to-weigh ration is just not up to par and after a few years or hiking/photo adventures, they tend to come apart. This tripod, however, has not disappointed. It is nice and light but at the same time is quite durable. My only concern is the smaller, more fragile plastic parts. This tripod offers many options and has all the bells and whistles but I fear that due to it's complication there is a larger possibility for something to go wrong. However, nothing has gone wrong yet, much to my surprise, and I am very very pleased with this product. The 3 way head and quick release is a must and this tripod is a very good buy for the price.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Basic But Good I recently broke a tripod I'd had for about 10 years, and came online to look for a replacement. This tripod is basic, nothing crazy fancy, but it gets the job done. It's exactly like the tripod I had before, tall enough for me (I'm 5'5), swivels in all possible directions you'd need for any picture situation, and is fairly sturdy without sandbags. A strong wind will knock it over, but that's true about a lot of things, not just tripods. Great value for the money. :)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great tripod I was looking for a cheap tripod and when I saw this one and read all the good reviews I thought I'd give it a try. Well I was more than pleased with what a little over twenty dollars got me. The tripod is worth every penny and then some. It seems to be quite sturdy. has two leveling bubbles and extends to about sixty inches plus has a quick camera disconnect and comes with a very nice canvas carrying case. This tripod is truly a bargain for the money.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good Tripod for light use I got the tripod and found that everything works good. I like the way it tightens in the middle so that it can have a narrow stance. It seems to have all the features of a good tripod. The construction appears fine, but it is light weight, so it does not feel real durable. However I think under light use and care it will last just fine. It maybe too light to securely hold a heavy camera. I found it to be a good value.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not well made I'm a newbie to the video world so I didn't want to invest a lot in auxiliary gear and bought this tripod. After a week of use it has broken and the camera swivels unhindered on the tripod. I can see where the cheap plastic broke off (and it may have been like that from the moment I received it.) No matter how much I tighten things it still swings loose. I would only buy this again if I were taking it on the road and new it was going to get destroyed. Spend your money on something more sturdy because will not last very long.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Definitely worth the money.. I wanted to have a tripod with good stability with my DSLR with 75-300 mm lens. Having read the reviews of various similar products (similar in terms of cost) I was skeptical if this low cost tripod was going to provide me good stability, but when I received the product I was surprised with the stability the product provided. It is definitely worth the money. Although the head and the extension clips on the tripod legs are made of plastic, I would recommend this product to anyone as this product comes with 10 year warranty.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great for the price I purchased this tripod looking for a cheap once a year use. I didn't expect much. When I receive product and tested it out I was impressed. Tripod is sturdy and can hold my dslr. Not much wable or play. I trusted it enough that I took it with me to do some outdoor shooting over in red rock canyon right outside of Las Vegas. Even in some terrible terrain tripod managed to stay up and support my camera. I think it's a better product than the tripods I checked out@ that were in the $ buck range
