The Casio EWC-110 underwater housing is designed for the Casio Exilim EX-V8 digital camera and provides access to all of the camera functions. In the housing the camera is fully operational underwater and can be submerged to a depth of 131'. The camera in the housing is also ideal for taking worry-free pictures in the rain, at the beach, or on the ski slopes.
The housing allows underwater photos to be taken using the built-in flash of the camera. However, an external strobe is recommended to improve the images by reducing the illumination of particles suspended in the water. Slaved external strobes like those made by Sea & Sea, Ikelite, Sealife or Fantasea can be used to provide proper lighting.
