I bought this Heavy-Duty FLex Arm for my husband along with the Manfrotto clamp, and he is able to use this in his photography in ways he's only dreamed of before. This is truly the top of the line product of its type!

Solidly built. Works well.

question

Can this hold a Manfrotto Lumie when attached via the easylink on the Manfrotto 190 tripods? are any additional spigots required or are any included with this product?
Asked by: Peter C.
You can attach a Manfrotto Lumimuse LED panel to the 1/4 threading on the end of the 237 Flex Arm. The female hex end of the arm would attach to an Easy Link socket using the Manfrotto 3/8 + 3/8 Adapter Spigot B&H # MA125. Please see the image below for reference.

question

Do I need a female 1/4 -20 to Male 3/8 adapter to connect this to a Manfrotto 175 spring clamp or 175F Justin clamp and the other end to a super clamp?
Asked by: Tony
The non hex stud end will fit in a Justin clamp. But it is recommended to use a super clamp. The 5/8 hex stud end will secure much more and can handle more weight than a Justin clamp.

NO! It can't really hold anything heavier than a GoPro Camera.

can this be used on the 190 series or other manfrotto tripods with the easy link?
Asked by: Ric
Perfectly. In the body ( not the head) there is a female hole to screw in the male end of it

question

how much weight can this hold?
Asked by: Ric
Not too much. We use it as a go pro flexible mount. I would suggest not to put more weight than an action cam

question

Could the super clamp and this arm fall off on a motorcycle at speed? I think the clamp would stay in place but the arm might bend. I will be using a GoPro (ie not heavy).
Asked by: Joseph Bryan J.
Get a Ram Mount. (company name). Ton of options for motorcycles.
